Thoughts on making the subreddit approval only?

I've removed about 10 times as many spam posts from the subreddit as there have been actual posts on the subreddit in the last few months. Granted, that's not much, since the subreddit is (very) slow. I don't feel the spam is overwhelming, by any means, and I have no problem with continuing to just remove the spam as it comes up.

Does anyone have an objection to forcing all new posts to be manually approved?
