If I went out on Pokemon adventure, all these men would see a small helpless woman walking alone in secluded places like the woods for example. Prime rape target. I’m sure there are also gym leaders who give out badges in exchange for sex.

Not to mention, these men could probably have their pokemon give them a hand. If some guy’s machamp grabs me and spreads my legs with his four arms for his trainer, I’m totally helpless.

It’s pretty rare that someone says no. Because it’s a normal custom, because it’s an alternative to killing your opponent, and because two people entering into a fight thereby forfeit the title of “innocent civilian,” it is almost never considered rape.

So to answer your question, I believe rape would actually be pretty rare, since a dangerous world like in Pokémon would need to adopt such a system to avoid constant slaughter. Under this system, the claiming of “spoils of war” that happens after losing a fight wouldn’t actually be considered rape, but rather an accepted risk of entering into a fight the same way getting beat up is an accepted risk of fighting.

Also when you’re not told constantly to be afraid of it, you won’t be so resistant to going along with and enjoying it when it happens.

If it’s a world where teenagers can go for an adventure so easily, it means that it has a higher level of civility. If rape happens, it is not on the road after a battle. It couldn’t be so socially accepted to let your kid live their life if they can be assaulted by the very first stranger.

Or else, it would be a pokemon world where teenagers never start their journey alone but in group accompanied by professional adults with empty criminal records (which doesn’t mean it avoids SA) and it’s not the world we can see.

Maybe I am just delusive but I look at what we can see if this friendly world and I assume this world is friendly. If pokemons appeared in our world, it would not lead to the first option I said but to the second imo
