It started off as just some fun self-bondage, since she could control the mechanisms with her gloves. But someone snuck in and pulled them off her hands before she could do anything to stop them. And now she’s stuck. 

The real question at hand though, is whether or not all the stuff kept going at the current settings, or if everything stopped until the controllers were reconnected. I imagine both options would be rather frustrating!
