I really like in the next page, Kurt calls Storm “one of the most beautiful women” he was ever met. Not only do I wholeheartedly agree, It must of been encouraging for young black comic book readers at the time, during a time when black superheroes were few and far between, to have a black superhero be described as beautiful.
